Job summary

Gallagher seeks a Health, Safety & Fire Risk Consultant to join our Risk Management Solutions team. This largely home-based role involves audits, site visits, and advisory work across sectors, with independence and support from UK specialists.

You will identify risks, implement practical safety solutions, and deliver reports and action plans to clients. Ideal candidates hold NEBOSH General/Construction certificates or equivalent, plus a Level 6 qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out health & safety audits, inspections and advisory work.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience producing clear reports and communicating recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health & safety audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Carry out fire risk assessments and review fire safety arrangements.
• Identify risks and evaluate existing controls; provide practical recommendations.
• Produce clear, professional reports and action plans for clients.
• Advise on health & safety legislation and good practice.
• Manage own projects, workload and client appointments.
