Job summary

Our Future Health UK is seeking a Product Manager to join the Research Enablement team and shape tools for researchers accessing a large health data resource.

You will understand researcher workflows, define the researcher experience vision, prioritise initiatives, and work with teams across engineering, design, science, data and governance to deliver impactful products in a health data environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Manager, preferably on digital or data products.
• Experience with cross-functional teams from problem understanding through delivery.
• Strong user-centered approach using research and insights to inform decisions.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and focus teams on outcomes.
• Confidence using data and evidence to measure impact of changes.
• Excellent communication with diverse scientific, technical or data backgrounds.
• Experience working in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and adapt as priorities evolve.
• Genuine interest in health, science and research.

Responsibilities

• Build a deep understanding of researcher needs through research, data and user engagement.
• Help define and communicate the vision and strategy for the researcher experience.
• Translate complex scientific and technical needs into clear product priorities.
• Make trade-offs between user value, goals, feasibility, risk and priorities.
• Identify opportunities to simplify important research tasks across connected products.
• Define success measures and analyse product and user data to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, science, data, research and governance teams and external partners.
• Help innovate responsibly while meeting security, ethics and governance requirements.
• Encourage colleagues to adopt user-centred, outcome-focused ways of working.
