Job summary

Our Future Health UK is seeking a Product Manager to join the Research Enablement team and shape tools for researchers accessing a large health data resource.

You will understand researcher workflows, define the researcher experience vision, prioritise initiatives, and work with teams across engineering, design, science, data and governance to deliver impactful products in a health data environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Product Manager, preferably on digital or data products.
• Experience with cross-functional teams from problem understanding through delivery.
• Strong user-centered approach using research and insights to inform decisions.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and focus teams on outcomes.
• Confidence using data and evidence to measure impact of changes.
• Excellent communication with diverse scientific, technical or data backgrounds.
• Experience working in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and adapt as priorities evolve.
• Genuine interest in health, science and research.

We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Research Enablement team and help shape the tools and services researchers use to access and work with this unique resource.

• Build a deep understanding of researcher needs, workflows and pain points through research, data and direct engagement with users


• Help define and communicate the vision and strategy for the researcher experience, translating complex scientific, technical and user needs into clear product priorities


• Make thoughtful trade-offs between user value, strategic goals, technical feasibility, risk and organisational priorities


• Identify opportunities to make important research tasks simpler, faster and more intuitive across an ecosystem of connected products and services


• Define success measures, analyse product and user data, test assumptions and use insights to continuously improve our products


• Collaborate closely with engineering, design, science, data, research and governance teams, as well as external technology partners


• Help us innovate responsibly while meeting the security, ethical and governance requirements associated with health research and sensitive data


• Help colleagues across the organisation understand and adopt user-centred, outcome-focused ways of working

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to work with people from specialist scientific, technical or data backgrounds


• A level of scientific and/or technical fluency that enables you to understand complex concepts and workflows, ask good questions and translate them into clear product decisions


• Experience working in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams


• The ability to work effectively with ambiguity and adapt as priorities, evidence and user needs evolve


• A genuine interest in health, science and research
