Job summary

NCFE is seeking Moderators for its External Quality Assurance team on a flexible remote contract to support the T Level Technical Qualification in Health. The role involves reviewing centre-marked work, applying QA principles and providing constructive feedback to maintain national standards.

The ideal candidate will have health sector experience, teaching or assessing learners in health-related subjects, and a solid understanding of QA processes.

Qualifications

• Relevant Health Level 3+ qualification or higher.
• Considerable occupational health sector experience.
• Experience in teaching, assessing, internal QA or moderation of qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of assessment and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Moderation activities in line with awarding organisations and regulations.
• Attend standardisation and team meetings as required.
• Review centre marking for accuracy and consistency.
• Produce clear moderation reports within SLAs.
• Plan and manage moderation for allocated centres following sampling strategies.
• Identify areas for development and share best practice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of qualification and assessment requirements.
