Job summary

Stroke Association is seeking an experienced Internal Communications and Engagement Lead to shape how we communicate, connect and engage across the UK. This remote role allows nationwide work with occasional travel for team meetings or events.

You’ll bring deep internal communications expertise, advise senior leaders, and lead our specialist internal comms team to build relationships, habits and capability that drive meaningful conversations and engagement across the charity.

Qualifications

• Deep internal communications expertise required.
• Experience advising senior leaders in complex or sensitive situations.
• Ability to balance organisational needs with employee understanding and engagement.
• Proven track record leading a team and building capability in internal comms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the specialist internal comms team.
• Shape and deliver the UK-wide internal comms strategy and engagement plans.
• Advise senior leaders and provide sound judgement on complex communications.
• Foster relationships and raise engagement across the charity to support strategic goals.
