Job summary

Contronics, part of Vesta Software Group, is seeking a Head of Commercial to lead sales, marketing and partnerships in the UK and internationally. You will drive revenue growth, shape go-to-market strategies and own product launches in collaboration with R&D and the marketing partner.

The role requires strong leadership, proven track record in selling technical systems with compliance focus, and a hands-on approach to closing high-value deals while building a scalable commercial team.

Qualifications

• Commercial Leadership: 5+ years in a senior sales or commercial leadership role.
• Technical & Systems Sales: proven success selling technical systems or solutions with compliance emphasis.
• New Business Growth: track record of winning new customers and growing revenue.
• Hands-On Selling: capable of leading from the front while developing others.
• Commercial Acumen: pricing, margins and recurring revenue; able to negotiate at senior level.
• Tenders & Proposals: experience with formal proposals; public-sector procurement.
• Data & Reporting: strong numeracy; pipeline, forecasting and CRM reporting.
• Communication: excellent written and verbal; engages customers and partners.
• Travel: willing to travel UK and international; valid UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales team and marketing partner to build a high-performing culture.
• Define and deliver a commercial plan aligned with business strategy and objectives.
• Broaden customer base across NHS, healthcare, life science and international markets.
• Review tenders and proposals; ensure compliance and competitive pricing.
• Oversee quotes and pricing; maintain margins and discount authority.
• Run pipeline reviews; provide forecasts and visibility of performance against targets.
• Collaborate with Operations to identify expansion opportunities and smooth handovers.
• Represent Contronics at industry events and with strategic partners.
