Global Fashion Group in London seeks a Group Financial Accountant to lead the Reporting, Controls & Treasury function and manage a team of Group Financial Accountants. You will oversee consolidation, IFRS reporting, and the annual audit process.

The role requires IFRS expertise, Big Four background preferred, and strong internal controls. You will mentor staff and collaborate with Investor Relations to support annual reporting.

Formación

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with finance or accounting systems.
• SAP, Hyperion/HFM, OneStream, or group ERP knowledge is a plus, but not essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach, and a strong technical focus.
• Experience working on multi-currency consolidated financial statements and audits.
• Strong audit background, ideally with Big Four experience.
• A flexible attitude and the ability to cope well with the demands of an evolving company.
• Ability to use AI tools to streamline workstreams and identify efficiencies.
• ACA-qualified accountant

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Group Reporting Team to deliver timely consolidated results.
• Review the Group consolidation monthly, including journals and analytic review.
• Prepare consolidated IFRS financial statements quarterly, interim, and full-year.
• Manage the interim and year-end audit process with external auditors.
• Work with Investor Relations to prepare and review the Group Annual Report.
• Coordinate and review ad-hoc analyses for Management Board, Group CFO and Audit Committee.
• Review quarterly reporting and presentations for investors and the stock exchange.
• Review quarterly IFRS 2 share-based payment journals.
• Provide technical accounting guidance to senior management and other finance teams.
• Continuously review internal controls and processes to minimise risk and maximise efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Stay up to date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals
