Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Procurement Administrator to support federal prime contracts. This fully remote role requires sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely, cost-effective procurements.

The candidate will work with internal stakeholders, ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR, CPSRs, and procurement policies. Ideal applicants bring 8+ years in US government procurement, strong negotiation skills, and experience with Deltek Costpoint.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in US Government procurement or related field.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR and CPSR policies.
• Experience negotiating, PO administration, and performance management.
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Operates and communicates effectively in a team environment with stakeholders.
• Coordinate procurement activities with internal and cross-functional teams.
• Implement procurement policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance for cost savings.
• Assist in preparing RFPs and bid packages.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase services and supplies to meet needs.
• Ensure proper documentation in CPSR/compliance workflows.
• Maintain records of orders and deliveries; manage delinquencies.
• Support CPSR environment and costpoint processes.
• Other duties as assigned.
