Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Regulatory SME to lead market strategy and regulatory alignment for global pharma growth. The role is remote and involves building strategic relationships with manufacturers, bioprocess OEMs, and labs, while translating complex drug manufacturing requirements into commercial priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred (Master's, MS, PhD) or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in pharma, biopharmaceutical, biotech, bioprocess, or regulated life-sciences industry.
• Knowledge of FDA/EMA expectations and global pharmaceutical regulations.
• Strong ability to translate customer/market needs into product, commercial, or operational requirements.
• Experience working cross-functionally with technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Voice of the Customer: translate pharmaceutical requirements into business/priorities.
• Regulatory Guidance: advise on cGMP, validation, supplier qualification, documentation, traceability, quality-system maturity, change control.
• Commercialization & Product Strategy: inform roadmaps and plans based on market feedback and launch readiness.
• Market Execution: develop market strategies for pharma and bioprocess applications.
• Stakeholder Engagement: nurture relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, OEMs, labs, and partners.
• Technical Evaluations: support trials, evaluations, reference installations, conferences, and roadshows.
• Cross-Functional Go-to-Market: collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing.
• Market & Competitive Intelligence: benchmark and identify growth opportunities and targets.
• Channel & OEM Development: support early design-in and partner qualification.
• Executive Alignment: communicate priorities and risks to leadership.
