Job summary

Abcam, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Global Events Manager to lead end-to-end planning and execution of global events from a remote location. You will collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to amplify Abcam’s brand, drive customer engagement, and demonstrate thought leadership in life sciences and biotechnology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or communications (or related field).
• Experience in project and budget management.
• Experience in biotech, specializing in events.
• Knowledge of latest events automation technology.
• Knowledge in analytics and ROI reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of global events, overseeing logistics, operations, vendor management, budgeting, and onsite delivery to ensure exceptional attendee experiences and flawless event execution.
• Develop and execute integrated event marketing strategies that drive awareness, registration, engagement, and post-event impact, working closely with marketing teams to maximize reach and business outcomes.
• Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, and regional teams to align event objectives with business priorities, ensuring seamless collaboration and measurable commercial results.
• Champion brand consistency and customer affinity by creating experiences that reflect the company's brand, values, and messaging while strengthening customer loyalty and engagement.
• Serve as the voice of the customer within event strategy, leveraging customer insights, feedback, and market trends to design programs that address key challenges and deliver value to target audiences.
