Job summary

Client Server is seeking a senior Full Stack Engineer to shape architecture from day one for a brand-new financial services product. You will own backend and contribute to frontend using Node.js, TypeScript, React and Azure, with an AI-first development approach.

The role is Bristol-based with work-from-home flexibility; you’ll collaborate closely with the CTO and a small, experienced team to drive design decisions and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

Strong Full Stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript and React.
Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-native apps.
Hands-on with Microsoft Azure and modern cloud architectures.
Experience integrating enterprise systems and event-driven solutions.
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude).
Enjoy working in collaborative, startup-style environments with ownership.

Responsibilities

Design scalable APIs and backend services.
Build cloud-native platform from ground up.
Develop frontend components with React where needed.
Own code quality, security and architectural decisions.
Collaborate with CTO and engineering team.
Implement IaC and CI/CD practices.
