Job summary

Universal Music Group UK is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer for a 6-month remote contract. You will modernise customer-facing and internal web apps, evolving the .NET platform toward a React/TypeScript frontend.

You will design user journeys, build reusable components, and establish a design system across applications. You’ll develop C#/.NET Core services and secure APIs, define API contracts, and translate stakeholder needs into deliverable releases.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering modern .NET + React frontends.
• Ability to design, develop, test and deploy secure APIs.
• Experience migrating UI to React/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with agile delivery and code reviews.
• Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server/MySQL).
• Experience modernising production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver modern user journeys across authenticated workflows.
• Build reusable, responsive, accessible UI components and patterns.
• Migrate UI parts to .NET + React/TypeScript with minimal disruption.
• Establish a design system across multiple applications.
• Develop and maintain C#/.NET Core functionality and secure APIs.
• Define API contracts with senior dev; ensure integration fits architecture.
• Translate product needs into pragmatic, well-scoped releases.
• Add automated tests, review code, improve documentation.
• Investigate and resolve defects across UI and .NET stack.
