Universal Music Group UK is seeking a senior full stack engineer with a strong background in modern .NET and React to work within the Rights Product & Services Team. You will design, develop and maintain scalable software, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions while navigating complex legacy systems toward cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ web/application development experience.
• Experience with media/entertainment industry is a plus.
• Expert-level C# and modern .NET development.
• Strong React, TypeScript and JavaScript experience.
• REST API and microservice development.
• AWS cloud services.
• Relational SQL databases and NoSQL databases.

Responsabilités

• Extensive commercial experience developing applications using modern .NET (C#) and React.
• Demonstrable experience designing and delivering scalable, secure and maintainable distributed applications and APIs.
• Experience contributing to technical architecture and making pragmatic engineering decisions that balance quality, delivery and long-term maintainability.
• Comfortable leading technical discussions, influencing engineering direction and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience mentoring engineers through code reviews, knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
• Act as deputy for the Technical Lead when required, supporting planning, technical decision-making and delivery.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
