Job summary

Trimble is seeking a Front-End React Engineer to replace a legacy desktop app with a browser-based UI. You will work in small squads delivering production React screens weekly, with emphasis on accessibility, performance, and robust data grids.

The role blends modern tooling, AI-assisted development, and end-to-end ownership of features. Location is UK-based with remote work options, contributing to the TMW Suite Dispatch UI modernization for energy dispatchers and logistics.

Qualifications

• Production React apps with TypeScript experience.
• Strong component architecture and testable components.
• Experience with data-heavy UIs: grids, server-side pagination.
• REST/OData API integration experience.
• Proficient in Git workflow and CI/CD processes.

Responsibilities

• Build production React screens end-to-end: data layer, state management, UI components, tests.
• Create responsive layouts using MUI X DataGrid and design system.
• Integrate with CloudHub/OData/CHC API stack to fetch real data.
• Ship weekly, demos to stakeholders, deliver working software.
• Collaborate in a pair-squad model with embedded generalist.
