Outlier is seeking skilled backend engineers to join as OpenClaw Agent Builders. This freelance, remote role lets you work from anywhere with flexible hours, typically 5-10 hrs/week up to 40 hours, and rates up to $50/hr depending on expertise.

You will help shape autonomous agents and coordinate multi-step workflows. You will build production-grade software with modular services for data parsing, logic processing, and reporting, and provide precise feedback on system behaviors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in backend engineering, AI automation, or complex systems integration.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade software with modular separation (e.g., distinct services for data parsing, logic processing, and reporting).
• Practical experience building for live, non-mocked environments and handling multi-turn system interactions.
• Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviors.
