Outlier is seeking skilled contractors to help shape autonomous agents like OpenClaw. This freelance, remote role offers up to $50 USD/hr with weekly payments. You can work flexibly from anywhere, usually 5–10 hours per week but up to 40 hours depending on project needs.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of backend engineering or complex systems integration experience, and a track record of building production-grade software with modular services. Performance and privacy considerations are key.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of backend engineering experience with AI/automation contexts.
• Experience building modular services (data parsing, logic processing, reporting).
• Ability to provide clear, high-density technical feedback on complex system behaviours.

Responsibilities

• Write Eval Rubrics for agent evaluation.
• Debug Agent Traces to identify issues.
• Stress Test Agent under real-world conditions.
