Job summary

CIFAS in London is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive sales of new CIFAS products, targeting existing members and new organisations to join our growing community. You will identify fraud prevention challenges in the UK, demonstrate the value of CIFAS membership, and build relationships through conferences and targeted outreach.

This role offers a commercial challenge with strategic influence that makes a real difference for organisations across the UK.

Qualifications

• A level education or equivalent and/or relevant previous work experience.
• Strong understanding of UK fraud prevention challenges and solutions across multiple sectors.
• Proven track record driving sales and securing new business (B2B/membership).
• Experience building and managing a robust sales pipeline with revenue forecasting.
• Ability to identify, target and engage potential new members and grow membership.
• Experience representing at trade shows, expos, and conferences.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with technical product knowledge.
• Collaborative with onboarding and member experience teams; CRM record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and secure new memberships for CIFAS across markets.
• Develop expertise in CIFAS products to address fraud prevention needs.
• Target organisations; grow the membership base.
• Generate leads for Learning Business and other product lines.
• Represent CIFAS at trade shows and conferences; convert leads to memberships.
• Deliver presentations showcasing benefits of membership and data sharing.
• Provide expert product advice and respond to technical queries.
• Collaborate with Onboarding and Member Experience teams to ensure a great customer journey.
• Produce accurate sales and revenue forecasts for new members.
