Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a remote Form F assessor role based in Wales. You will conduct comprehensive Form F assessments for prospective foster carers and manage the process from allocation to presentation at the Fostering Panel.

The ideal candidate has significant post-qualification experience in children's social care, with strong report writing skills and current Social Care Wales registration.

Qualifications

• Significant post-qualification experience in Children's Social Care.
• Experience in conducting complex social work assessments and report writing.
• Current registration with Social Care Wales.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development in fostering and children's services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Form F (Wales) assessments for prospective foster carers.
• Oversee the assessment process from allocation to Fostering Panel presentation.
• Plan and execute assessment visits with applicants and relevant individuals.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate information from interviews, references, and statutory checks.
• Assess applicants' strengths, vulnerabilities, and capacity to foster.
• Produce detailed, evidence-based Form F reports with recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all assessment activities.
