Job summary

Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced Independent Social Worker to undertake Form F assessments on behalf of Powys Council. This fully remote role offers flexible, assessment-based work and the chance to contribute to recruitment and assessment of prospective foster carers.

The ideal candidate is a qualified social worker registered with Social Care Wales, with proven Form F experience, strong analytical and report-writing skills, and the ability to work independently to manage

Qualifications

• Qualified Social Worker with registration in Social Care Wales.
• Experience completing Form F Assessments.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.

Responsibilities

• Complete Form F Assessments for prospective foster carers.
• Undertake interviews and home visits as required.
• Gather and analyse information from applicants and professionals.
• Produce high-quality assessment reports within agreed timescales.
• Provide evidence-based recommendations on fostering suitability.
• Work in accordance with fostering regulations and best practice.
