Job summary

SGS is seeking a Technologist - Food to prepare, verify and approve product specifications in line with client requirements and service level agreements, working remotely across the UK.

The role provides technical and regulatory support to clients, ensures compliance with HACCP, Food Safety and GFSI standards, and collaborates with internal and external parties to meet client and business needs. You will liaise with clients and suppliers to deliver projects under the Technical Compliance Manager.

Qualifications

• Evidence of food technical/regulatory knowledge and ability to apply standards.
• Experience with HACCP, Food Safety and GFSI requirements.
• Practical knowledge of retailer specification systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, check and approve product specifications in line with client requirements and SLAs.
• Provide technical and regulatory support to clients and internal/external parties.
• Ensure responsibilities align with customer policies and KPIs through stakeholder liaison.
• Deliver other projects as requested by the Technical Compliance Manager.
