Job summary

Live Recruitment is seeking an experienced Event Venue Sourcing Manager to own the full sourcing cycle for international pharma meetings, ensuring ABPI compliance and rigorous venue evaluation. The role suits someone with a proven track record in pharmaceutical or healthcare events and strong Cvent expertise.

You will manage RFPs, negotiate contracts, conduct international site visits and deliver handovers to project leads, while embracing a remote-first, flexible work pattern and opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in pharma/healthcare events with ABPI compliance.
• Strong international sourcing and supplier management.
• Proficient in Cvent for RFPs and venue comparisons.

Responsibilities

• Produce tailored venue shortlists meeting client briefs, budgets and compliance requirements.
• Develop and manage RFPs through Cvent, with clear recommendations and comparisons.
• Negotiate rates and contract terms that deliver value and documented client savings.
• Review venue contracts and client addendums against policy and risk requirements.
• Conduct site visits internationally to assess and confirm venue suitability.
• Deliver complete, timely handovers to project leads covering all contractual commitments.
• Share venue knowledge across teams and support junior colleagues.
