Unknown Employer is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimating Manager to own and drive the mechanical estimating function across major MEP projects in the UK. The role offers remote work for an initial 3-4 months and opportunities to shape tender strategies and supplier relationships.

You will lead high-value tenders, review complex estimates and manage a dedicated estimating team, with a focus on identifying risks and value engineering opportunities.

Qualifications

• Senior Mechanical Estimator with Building Services / MEP background.
• Experience pricing and managing large, complex mechanical projects.
• Looking to build and lead an estimating team.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Mechanical Estimating function for major MEP projects.
• Lead high-value tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and handover.
• Develop tender strategies and review complex mechanical estimates.
• Build, develop and manage a Mechanical Estimating team.
• Manage key supplier, subcontractor and client relationships.
• Identify commercial risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Fully remote for the first 3-4 months.
