Job summary

Grafton Banks Finance Limited in the UK is seeking a Group Financial Controller for a growing international SME near Crawley. The role reports to the Group FD and oversees UK and overseas subsidiary FCs, with a strong focus on group accounting, processes and controls.

Almost fully remote, but candidates must live within about an hours commute to Crawley. Fully qualified accountant with group accounts experience is preferred; practice background is acceptable for first industry move.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure accuracy of entity management accounts and control files.
• Consolidation of monthly group management accounts.
• Preparation of monthly board pack.
• Design & implementation of standardised group processes.
• Co-ordination of group audit processes.
• Review and ensure accuracy of entity budgets and forecasts.
• Cashflow reconciliation, analysis, and forecasting.
• Group variance analysis and KPI reporting.
• Quarterly bank reporting.
• Pricing.
