Job summary

Energy Saving Trust is seeking a Development Manager - Community Energy to lead the development and delivery of complex community energy projects across Scotland, including CARES initiatives and opportunities in renewable energy, energy storage and local energy systems.

You will work with communities, public sector partners, network operators and funders to navigate project development from concept through delivery, ensuring environmental, social and economic benefits and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

Experience developing renewable energy or complex infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication, able to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience providing technical leadership and quality assurance.
Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of high-value community energy projects from concept to delivery.
Identify opportunities in renewable energy, energy storage and local energy systems.
Build relationships with community organisations, DNOs, contractors, partners and funders.
Contribute technical expertise to CARES and community energy policy.
