Job summary

Axiom is seeking a senior legal advisor in the United Kingdom to provide commercially oriented guidance on fintech, payments, digital assets, and related technology offerings. You will draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial and technology agreements, and navigate regulatory issues affecting cross-border services.

You will collaborate with product, compliance, risk, and external counsel to support launches, partnerships, and ongoing risk management in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with fintech, payments, digital assets, crypto, blockchain or financial services experience.
• Experience advising fintechs, PSPs, e-money institutions, digital asset businesses, banks or related entities.
• Strong drafting, review and negotiation of commercial contracts, SaaS, cloud, outsourcing, partnerships and platform agreements.
• Excellent commercial judgment, stakeholder management, and ability to deliver pragmatic advice in a regulated, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on fintech, payments, digital assets, crypto, blockchain, and related offerings.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and technology agreements including SaaS, cloud, outsourcing and platform arrangements.
• Advise on regulatory considerations affecting fintech, payments, e-money, cryptoassets, data governance, and cross-border services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external counsel to support product development, regulatory change, partnerships, and risk mitigation.
