Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in Newcastle seeks a Business and Data Reporting Analyst to join the Finance Business Information team. You will own data processes, gather requirements, and contribute to delivering high-quality financial information across SAP, SQL, Tableau, Power BI and reporting tools.

This 12-month fixed-term contract offers exposure to SAP ECC/BW, Business Objects, and a collaborative, service‑oriented environment within a global law firm.

Qualifications

• Detailed data reconciliations with strong numerical accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving approach.
• Ability to document data processes clearly.
• Finance background with understanding of S2C, P2P, FM.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of FBI data processes and improve workflows.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and document solutions.
• Collaborate with team to ensure data quality and timely delivery.
• Manage FBI shared inbox and coordinate requests.
• Raise incidents and escalate issues as needed.
• Learn to extract data from SAP ECC, SAP BW and SAP BO.
• Develop expertise in Tableau, Power BI and SQL for reporting.
• Perform other tasks as directed by Senior Manager, Reporting & Business Information.
• Produce regular data reconciliations and ensure data integrity.
• Document business processes changes and maintain data controls.
