Job summary

Oxford Policy Management Limited is seeking an FCDO Senior Bid Manager to lead high-priority bids within a global development context. The role is remote within the UK with regular events in London and Oxford.

You will coordinate internal and external inputs, drive bid strategy, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality proposals for FCDO frameworks. Proven experience in end-to-end bid management and stakeholder engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in business administration, international development, or related field.
• Proven ability to craft and implement strategic business development and client relationship strategies, ideally with UKHMG ministries.
• Experience leading end-to-end bidding, drafting high-quality proposals, tenders, and grant submissions.
• Strong understanding of tendering requirements, legalities, and guidelines for consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support end-to-end bidding from prepositioning to contracting, coordinating inputs and resources.
• Provide market and competitor analysis to inform bid strategy and go/no-go decisions.
• Facilitate bid kick-offs and ensure clarity of roles and timelines across the bidding team.
• Coach and mentor junior acquisition staff on best practices in bidding and acquisition.
