Job summary

S Knights Recruitment is seeking an External Quality Assurer (EQA) to manage a remote caseload of centres across the UK, including occasional visits to centres and Chorley. The role focuses on risk-based QA, quality improvement, and sustained compliance within vocational education and apprenticeship contexts.

Ideal candidates will have an EQA qualification or be actively working toward one, with strong experience in vocational assessment, quality assurance and report writing.

Qualifications

• Recognised External Quality Assurance qualification, or working towards one.
• Experience in vocational education, qualifications, assessment or QA.
• Engineering/Manufacturing experience desirable, or Construction background.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, evidence-based QA across allocated centres.
• Conduct remote and occasional in-person QA visits.
• Apply risk-based sampling to monitor quality and compliance.
• Produce clear QA reports with recommendations and action plans.
• Lead standardisation, moderation and validation activities.
