Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its preconstruction team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering and utilities projects, review drawings and documents, and develop competitive pricing strategies.

You will work with engineering and operations to ensure tenders are accurate, commercially competitive and deliverable. The role involves subcontractor quotation management, value engineering opportunities and close collaboration with

Qualifications

Experience preparing estimates and tender submissions for infrastructure projects.
Review tender drawings, specifications, bills of quantities and related documentation.
Undertake quantity take-offs and prepare pricing schedules.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors.
Develop competitive tender submissions and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

Work closely with preconstruction, commercial, engineering and operational teams to ensure tenders are accurate and deliverable.
Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering solutions during tender preparation.
Support tender adjudications, clarifications and commercial negotiations with clients.
