Remote ESL Teacher – Cosmo

Location: South Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom

Cosmo is an online learning platform connecting K‑12 students in the US, Canada, and Asia with tutors. As a Remote ESL Teacher, you will provide 1‑on‑1 lessons to ESL students in Singapore and Hong Kong using the Cosmo curriculum.

Pay

$20 USD per class plus additional incentives.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App in a timely manner
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability
• Submit class feedback after each lesson
• Communicate with parents and students in a professional manner
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting
• Communicate with Cosmo staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3 years of experience teaching grades K‑12 in ELA
• Experience with K‑12 ELA standards and curriculum
• Experience teaching ESL learners
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required
• Fast and reliable internet connection and access to a Windows or Mac PC with a minimum CPU of 6000
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching with Cosmo 1:1
• Available between 8‑2 PM GMT Monday through Friday or 5 AM – 2 PM GMT on weekends
• Minimum of 20 hours of availability on a weekly basis
• Access to a private and quiet location
