Job summary

AfterQuery is hiring environmental scientists and environmental engineers as contractors to review, create, and rank technical content for frontier AI labs. Work is paid hourly, fully remote, and fully async - you choose when and how much you work.

Responsibilities include evaluating AI-generated environmental analyses for regulatory accuracy, creating expert demonstrations of site assessment, permitting, and remediation workflows, and ranking model responses against environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, geology, hydrology, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional environmental work (assessment, permitting, compliance, remediation, or modeling).
• Strong written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated environmental analysis for technical and regulatory accuracy.
• Create expert demonstrations of site assessment, permitting, and remediation workflows.
• Rank and label model responses against environmental standards and regulations.
