Job summary

Brahma AI is seeking an Engineering Team Lead for Brahma Studio. This remote role guides 8–10 backend and fullstack engineers, translating product roadmaps into concrete milestones while prioritising delivery, quality, and security.

You will shape technical direction, participate in architecture, and drive observability and developer velocity using AI-assisted tooling. Leadership and hands-on coding are expected in balance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading engineering teams with 8–10 direct reports and structured mentorship.
• Experience delivering SaaS platforms with predictable release cadences.
• Strong technical decision-making, code reviews and mentorship.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development tools and LLM workflows.
• Solid backend experience: Python, RESTful APIs, microservices, PostgreSQL, Redis.
• Operational mindset with containers, CI/CD automation and cloud observability.
• Clear, proactive communication about scope, trade-offs and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Translate product roadmaps into engineering milestones and reliable delivery schedules.
• Set up agile cadences, run stand-ups, and manage risk to unblock progress.
• Mentor 8–10 engineers through 1:1s and career development plans.
• Collaborate with Product, Architect and leadership to align platform commitments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and drive quality, security and observability.
