Job summary

ISR Recruitment Limited is seeking an automation-focused End-to-End Test Engineer to support a major public sector digital transformation programme. You will validate complete business processes across UI and API layers, contributing to testing throughout Agile delivery and ensuring changes are thoroughly tested ahead of release.

The role requires strong automation skills with Playwright, Cypress or Python, testing REST APIs, and collaborating with Product Owners to deliver reliable software in

Qualifications

• Experience in building automated UI, API and integration tests.
• Proficient in end-to-end and regression testing within Agile delivery.
• Strong testing of REST APIs, JSON/XML payloads and system integrations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with developers and Product Owners.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain reusable automated UI, API and integration tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, end-to-end, regression and exploratory testing.
• Identify test scenarios, risks and coverage requirements early in the delivery lifecycle.
• Manage defects, retesting and requirements traceability using Jira and Xray.
• Produce clear test evidence, results and outstanding risk assessments to support release decisions.
