Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring design, debugging, and shipping hardware judgment developed over years, while we provide engineering problems the models can't yet solve.

You'll design realistic engineering challenges, run them through frontier AI models, and judge results against professional standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Background in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Ability to defend component-level and system-level decisions.
• Strong command of circuit analysis and design tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging engineering problems from your practice for frontier AI models.
• Run problems through models and judge outputs against professional standards.
• Compare model versions and call which performed better and where they fell short.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, components, and calculations with written rationale.
