Placements24 seeks an experienced Educational Psychologist for remote contracting work serving clients in the Randburg region and beyond. You will conduct assessments, provide therapy sessions, and prepare professional reports while maintaining high ethical standards and flexibility for remote work.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology or Clinical Psychology with a child development focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children using a range of psychometric tools.
• Diagnose and interpret learning disabilities, developmental delays, behavioral disorders, and emotional challenges.
• Develop and implement tailored intervention and treatment plans for individual children and families.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based approaches.
• Consult with parents, teachers, and professionals to support the child.
• Prepare detailed psychological reports with findings, diagnoses, and recommendations.
• Offer psycho-educational guidance to parents and schools.
• Stay current with advancements in child psychology and therapy practices.
• Maintain confidential records in line with ethical and legal standards.
