Placements24 is recruiting a Child Psychologist with pediatric specialization for a Randburg clinic. You will conduct assessments, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapies to children and adolescents.

The role involves collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and outcomes in a multidisciplinary team. A relevant HPCSA registration is required.

Formación

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology with specialization in Child Clinical Psychology.
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist.
• Proven experience in pediatric psychology, including assessment and therapy.
• Strong understanding of child development, psychopathology, and intervention strategies.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence‑based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Consult with parents, schools, and other healthcare providers to support comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
