Civic Recruitment Limited is seeking an Educational Psychologist for an 11-month remote contract with a North Yorkshire Local Authority. You will support statutory SEND assessments and EHCPs, working remotely to deliver high-quality psychological advice within statutory timescales.

The role requires HCPC registration and a Qualified Educational Psychologist, with at least 2 years post-qualification experience in an English Local Authority and experience with EHCPs.

Qualificações

• HCPC registration and eligibility as Educational Psychologist
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in an English Local Authority
• Experience contributing to EHCPs and SEND assessments
• Knowledge of SEND legislation and assessment frameworks

Responsabilidades

• Complete statutory Educational Psychology assessments within EHCNA processes
• Provide evidence-based recommendations for EHCPs
• Gather and analyse educational, developmental and psychological information
• Liaise with schools, parents, carers and professionals
• Produce high-quality written reports within agreed timescales
• Ensure assessments comply with SEND legislation and guidance
• Apply psychological theory to assessment work
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Work independently while upholding professional standards
• Meet assessment targets and performance requirements
• Contribute to positive outcomes for children with additional needs
