Job summary

Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced EC&I Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering capital projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead front end design and oversee commissioning of electrical, control, automation and instrumentation systems.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in industrial automation, can interpret P&IDs and schematics, and can produce URS and IFQ documents.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Control & Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum of five years' experience in industrial automation or process industries.
Experience designing electrical and control systems in an industrial env.
Working knowledge of PLC-based control systems (reading, not coding).
Ability to interpret P&IDs.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Experience producing engineering documentation and specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead front-end / concept design of electrical, control, instrumentation systems.
Develop URS and IFQ documents for manufacturing projects.
Oversee commissioning and optimisation of systems.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and client specs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support handover.
