Job summary

Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced EC&I Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering capital projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role covers front-end concept design through to commissioning and optimisation of electrical, control, automation and instrumentation systems.

You will work across disciplines, produce URS and IFQ documents, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Control & Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum of five years' experience within industrial automation, manufacturing or process industries.
Experience designing electrical and control systems within an industrial environment.
Working knowledge of PLC-based control systems (understanding – not coding or programming).
Ability to interpret Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
Experience producing engineering documentation and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead front-end and concept design for EC&I projects in a manufacturing environment.
Implement, commission, and optimise electrical, control, automation and instrumentation systems.
Work across multiple disciplines to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to standards.
Develop URS and IFQ documents for LV electrical design and control systems.
