Job summary
Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a community-based consultant psychiatrist for the CONNECT eating disorders service in Leeds. You will work within an MDT to deliver specialist community care to adults with eating disorders, supporting the clinical lead in implementing a new community service model and evaluating it against NICE and MEED guidance.
Research involvement is encouraged.
Qualifications
- CCT in WAA psychiatry or CAMHS experience with an eating disorders special interest.
- Experience in eating disorders psychiatry is essential.
- Ability to work within an MDT and community setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist community psychiatric care to adults with eating disorders as part of an MDT.
- Support the Clinical Lead and MDT in implementing the new community service model.
- Evaluate the new service model against NICE (2017) and MEED (RCPsych, 2022) guidelines.
- Work in partnership with service users, carers and partner agencies.
- Get involved in CONNECT research initiatives.
