Job summary

Coventry University Group is seeking a part-time Tutor in Languages to oversee CUET administration and marking across UK locations. The role focuses on secure testing, materials allocation, and coordinating invigilators and markers within set timelines.

The successful candidate will lead a marking team, ensure standardisation, liaise with CURA, and maintain data security and confidentiality in line with GDPR requirements. Relevant TESOL/Language Testing expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree
• Diploma level qualification and/or Masters in a relevant subject (e.g. TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Language Testing)
• Native or near native speaker (IELTS 8.0 or above) standard of written and spoken English

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of the Coventry University English Test (CUET) and ensure secure testing processes
• Lead marking team, standardise marking and coordinate allocation of test materials
• Train invigilators and manage scheduling, timelines and data reporting for test events
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, data security and deal with academic misconduct as needed
