Job summary

Darwin Recruitment is seeking an experienced E-Invoicing Integration Consultant for a 12-month freelance engagement, working remotely in Europe. You will deliver enterprise EDI and e-Invoicing integrations across ERP systems and government compliance networks, designing and implementing connections between ERP, middleware, and e-Invoicing providers.

The role requires strong skills in REST/SOAP/XML/JSON, messaging standards (EDIFACT, X12, PEPPOL), and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi,

Qualifications

Experience delivering EDI or e-Invoicing integrations.
Experience integrating ERP systems with external platforms.
Proficient in REST, SOAP, XML and JSON.
Knowledge of messaging standards: EDIFACT, ANSI X12, UBL or PEPPOL.
Middleware tooling such as MuleSoft, Boomi, SAP CPI/PI/PO, Azure Integration Services or similar.
Experience with mapping and transformation tools.
Experience in integration testing and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Deliver enterprise E‑Invoicing and EDI integrations across multiple ERP platforms and government compliance networks.
Design and implement integrations between ERP systems, middleware, e‑Invoicing providers and government platforms.
Ensure reliable, compliant electronic document exchange.
