Job summary

1st for Awarding Ltd is seeking freelance IQAs to carry out moderation and standardisation for the Digital Support Technician Level 3 standard. The work is remote and paid per assessment, with applicants welcomed from anywhere in the UK. Ideal candidates will have IQA experience, an IQA qualification (e.g.

L4 TAQA/L4 CAVA/V1/D34), DST knowledge, and a solid grasp of apprenticeship standards. You should be highly organised, reliable, able to plan your schedule, meet timescales, and communicate

Qualifications

• Internal Quality Assurance experience.
• IQA qualification (such as L4 TAQA/L4 CAVA/V1/D34).
• Qualification or substantial experience in DST.
• An understanding of apprenticeship standards.
• Highly organised and reliable.
• Able to plan your schedule and commit to agreed timescales.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to attend two standardisation activities per year (remotely).

Responsibilities

• Review assessors’ justifications for apprenticeship assessment.
• Confirm final grading.
• Provide feedback on assessment quality, processes and procedures.
