Job summary

Essex County Council in Chelmsford is seeking a Domestic Homicide Review Project Officer on a fixed-term, full-time basis to deliver and project-manage DHR processes across SET.

The role requires strong administrative skills, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work remotely as an Anywhere Worker with occasional travel; interviews on 27th & 28th August 2026. A current right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with administrative support in a multi-agency environment is desirable.
• Excellent communication across phone, in person and online platforms.
• GCSEs A*-C including English and Maths required.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive admin project support within a DA team.
• Organise meetings, prepare papers, take minutes and track actions.
• Manage diaries and coordinate enquiries from partners.
• Support budget tracking and reporting, including invoices.
• Coordinate papers for DHR processes and SETDAB subgroups.
