Job summary

Tether seeks a highly skilled DevOps Specialist to architect, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions with a strong focus on test-driven deployment and IaC practices.

You will containerize services with Docker, manage build workflows for JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++ packages, and design robust cross-language pipelines using CMake and NPM publications. Remote work is supported globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience architecting and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions at scale.
• Strong proficiency in test‑driven deployment methodologies and automated tests.
• Expertise with Docker containers and image workflows.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++ build workflows (NPM, packaging).
• C++ build systems like CMake; Linux administration and networking.
• Infrastructure as Code concepts with Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK/CloudFormation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in globally distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, architecture, and management of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and similar tools.
• Implement test‑driven deployment systems with automated testing, validation, and monitoring.
• Containerize apps and microservices with Docker; manage multi‑language build pipelines.
• Oversee build, packaging, and publishing workflows for JS, TS, and C++ (NPM, registries).
• Develop cross‑platform build pipelines with CMake or equivalent tools for web, desktop, and mobile.
• Automate end‑to‑end release processes across mobile, web, and desktop apps.
• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code to provision reliable infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations to troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Enhance observability and monitoring for deployment health.
