Qualifications

• Part-qualified accountant nearing qualification.
• Experience in development finance and appraisals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel and systems skills.
• Excellent communication and reporting to stakeholders.
• Understanding of social housing finance.
• Ability to influence decisions with analysis.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
• Experience with Pamwin.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics F&O.
• Previous line management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess development scheme appraisals and post-development reviews.
• Partner with Development teams to support investment decisions.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities for stakeholders.
• Develop financial models and programme forecasts.
• Produce monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and performance reporting.
• Support annual audits and impairment reviews.
• Work with Homes England grant audits and compliance.
• Contribute to 30-year business planning.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes.
• Line manage and develop a Capital Accountant.
