Job summary

Jonas Software’s C-SAM unit seeks a Development & Technical Manager to lead technology strategy across assets software. You will steer legacy modernization to web-based and SaaS platforms, oversee cloud infra and security, and manage a small UK/international development team.

You will work with leadership to translate business goals into technical plans, ensure CI/CD best practices, and foster innovation with AI-assisted tools while safeguarding IP and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading software teams and mentoring developers.
• Experience modernising legacy desktop apps to web/cloud platforms.
• Strong cloud knowledge (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
• Experience with modern web tech, APIs, and authentication standards (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT).
• Experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the technical strategy for modernisation to web/SaaS.
• Provide architectural oversight, establish coding standards, and review major designs.
• Line-manage a development team with planned growth to 4 across UK and international locations.
• Own cloud infrastructure and security practices, CI/CD, and environment management.
• Promote AI-assisted development tools while ensuring security and IP compliance.
