Job summary

Jonas Software is seeking a Technical Lead for its Central AI Lab. This role involves leading the development of production-grade AI solutions and ensuring the integration across business units. With a focus on delivery and engineering excellence, you will establish CI/CD practices and advocate for modern software development methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of experience in production software systems and cloud competence. Occasional travel within the UK and optional international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building and operating production software systems (SaaS, enterprise, or similar).
• Proven ability to design secure systems: authN/authZ, secrets management, audit/logging.
• Strong backend engineering (APIs, data stores, async patterns).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with BUs: constraints, data readiness, integration points.
• Own end-to-end solution design and implementation for central pilots.
• Support adoption of AI-DLC methodology across Portfolio BUs.
