Job summary

Tether.io is hiring a Developer Productivity Engineer to strengthen our desktop and mobile tooling, AI harness, and shared runtime. You will build, maintain, and improve developer tools and AI agents within a globally distributed, remote team to accelerate code delivery and quality.

You will work with engineers to identify improvements, drive automation, and ensure tooling trust and adoption across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience building developer tools or automation.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js skills.
• Experience with AI coding tools or agents.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English within a remote, globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, integrate, and maintain developer tools and AI agents for CI workflows.
• Improve automated pull request reviews and code quality checks.
• Develop tooling and automation to speed up delivery and reduce friction.
• Support adoption through documentation and onboarding, measuring impact.
• Collaborate with engineers to shape the tooling roadmap.
