Job summary

Octopus Computer Associates is seeking a DataStage Developer for Manchester and remote work. You will design, develop and support ETL solutions using IBM DataStage in a regulated banking environment.

You will work with analysts, data architects, and downstream consumers to deliver reliable, scalable data integration. Must be eligible for BPSS and be PAYE via umbrella; on-site 2–3 days as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DataStage development experience (11.x preferred).
• Strong ETL/Data Warehousing concepts.
• Proficient UNIX/Shell scripting.
• SQL/PL/SQL proficiency.
• Strong data modeling and relational DB knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain DataStage ETL jobs and sequences.
• Build end-to-end data pipelines from sources to data warehouse.
• Create ETL design docs, mappings, and technical specs.
• Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
